Prysm

Holy cow it's been a long time since I've last uploaded anything. It's mostly because I haven't really finished a piece of work to my satisfaction. Lots and lots of pictures started though! After all this time I think my style has matured some, my anatomy has probably improved, and Sai has made inking and colouring a hell of a lot easier.

I hope to upload some more art in a relatively short period of time.

Uploading some progress pictures of the doll body I'm working on also might be a good idea, something to think about!

Wow... It's done. It's really DONE. It feels kinda surreal.
At long last, the doujin is done. How long did it take? I think it's been more then a year now. Yeeeaaaaaah.

At first, Neo approached me and said she'd wanted to get this collaboration style doujin done, since two other people had flaked out on her. I know Neo IRL, she's my best buddy, so I said "I'll do my best."
I've gone out of my way to try to lay the panels out differently then the people before.
Comics are not my strong point in the least. I'm better when I can focus on one picture at a time, and a comic has many, many pictures. Plus, I'd never even DRAWN Naruto or Sasuke before. I'm still somewhat of a Narutard, since I have a Konoha black Hitai-ate, and a rather large spindle of fan-subbed Naruto CDs.

Getting the last couple of pages done was fairly taxing on my right hand/wrist/arm, because I wanted to get it all done NAO. I over-did it, and the inking on page nine took me two days, simply because my body was rebelling against me. Mah drawing/squeezin' arm is feeling better now though. c:

I'd never have been able to do it without Neo's help and encouragement. ♥♥♥
Anyways, look forwards to seeing my pages put up, and please give some comments.

Hopefully, now that this is done, I can focus on finishing some of my other pieces of art as well. I'm bad at finishing arts. >_>

Well, it's been absolutely AGES since I've updated either this journal or my gallery, but lots has been happening. First off, I've been feeling really crappy, then my computer went and decided it wanted to screw itself up the ass. HARD. I nearly lost all of my files. Thanks to my brother, I got most of it back. Phew.

I've started all kinds of artwork, but haven't managed to really finish anything passable.

On the plus side, I've been working on the Doujin that was a joint project between Neo and myself. So hopefully that will get done soon-ish. Neo has been giving me lots of help, which really helps me out. <3
I'm trying to remind myself to have fun with it, and also to never do something with this many pages again. One or two page comics are really about the max that I should be thinking about.

Rawwwr. Got to keep fighting! Need to take a page from Naruto's book and be as stubborn and obstinate as a rock.

Wow.... that other club is hard-assed. Neo and I have been trying to get in but to no avail. So I'm going to try the other Org. Infinity. organizationinfinity.deviantar…

Their missions sound like they're more fun anyways. Besides, this means I can submit Pixie too >D

Phew! That character sheet was a chore! But I'm happy with it at least.

Raeburn (the non-Nobody version), was thought of YEARS ago when Neo was first getting into Kingdom Hearts, and made up a fan character Fennex... and not so subtly suggested that he needed a 'friend'... so, knowing absolutely nothing about KH at the time, I obliged. (I later played the games over at her house <3) He's always had his claw hand and two-tipped whip.

Over the years he's evolved (and has inspired a Gaia avatar >_> ), and in order to have a chance to get into a club ( ), he had to get his heart literally ripped out 8D.

Well, here's hoping that effort was worth it! *crosses fingers*
